How to play Fridgle

Fridgle is a daily magnet poetry game. Everyone gets the same set of word tiles each day, and you arrange them into a short poem on a fridge door. There is no score. The fun is in what you make.

How does the daily puzzle work?

A new set of about 36 tiles appears every day at 00:00 UTC. Tap a tile to put it on the fridge, tap it again to take it back, and drag tiles to change their order. When the poem sounds right, pin it. A pinned poem can't be changed.

What are the small yellow tiles?

They are word endings such as -s, -ed or -ing. Put one right after a word to change it: hum and -s make hums. Some words also have a ↻ button that switches between forms.

What is hard mode?

Hard mode asks you to use an exact number of tiles, shown next to the switch. The number changes every day, from 5 to 12.

Can I play older puzzles?

Yes. Every past puzzle stays playable in the archive, and Unlimited deals a fresh set of tiles whenever you want one.

Where do other people's poems go?

After pinning today's poem you can post it to the wall, with or without a name. Poems are checked before they appear, and anyone can report a poem that shouldn't be there.

Is this the same game as fridgle.net?

No. This is an independent fridgle-style game in English, Spanish, French and German, and it is not affiliated with fridgle.net or its creator.
